Dancin Champion (David Miller) took full advantage of a miscue by leader Ivy Park in mid-stretch to spring a mild upset at 7-1 in the $80,000 fourth leg of the Kentucky Championship Series for two-year-old male pacers on Tuesday (Sept. 5) at Red Mile.
On Monday (July 31), Dolce Amara broke her maiden in style at Red Mile in the only $80,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes division for freshman trotting fillies.
The last of the week’s stakes action for freshman Standardbreds is set to go to post on the Friday (Sept. 30) card at The Red Mile with pacing colts and geldings and trotting fillies in competition in a total of six Bluegrass Stakes divisions.
