you might have a few rain drops to deal with and some humidity. at least i did, for sure, coming in this morning. which is very welcome. that is the big story is that we have cooled down. that heat wave is over, thankfully. yesterday we did not even get to 90 degrees. the high at reagan national was at 87. and around our region now, temperatures in the 70s. the radar scanning the sky, picking up a few sprinkles, right there on the calvert and anne arundel county line. that s drifting off to the south and east. also a few sprinkles across the bay in queen anne s and kent counties drifting off to the east. right now temperatures in the low to mid 70s from the shenandoah valley to the atlantic beaches. out of the mountains near 70 degrees and the cloud cover beginning to break up there. still cloudy here with some light fog in the city. some patchy, denser fog in some the rural areas. as the day progresses we ll get increasing sunshine by noontime. we ve got the sun breaking
