Today, the ncaa, under the pressure of a lawsuit, addressed the issue of head injuries for athletes who play, have played or will play college sports. It agreed to a proposed 70 million settlement of the class action suit. The money will pay for neurological testing but not treatment, and the ncaa will have a new policy for returning injured players to the game. Mark straussmann has details.
