The Lee women s track and field team took its final shot at reaching the NCAA D2 National Championships at the Lee Last Chance Meet from the Multi-Sport Complex on Saturday.
Celine Ritter recorded a time of 4:25.23 in the 1500-meter run and placed third in the event. Kristen Blevins dashed to a time a third-place finish in the 100 meter (11.86) and was seventh in the 200 meter (24.66).
Carissa Hall placed fourth in the triple jump with a school record mark of 11.87m. Deborah Rubin wrapped up an impressive junior season with a third place showing in the hammer throw with a toss of 45.89m. Kendra Irvine set a school record in the pole vault at 3.56m.
