ROXANA – The pandemic robbed Illinois’ cross country runners of their universal goal of running in the state meet at Detweiller Park in Peoria in 2020.
But a South Central Conference celebration – and coronation – was salvaged by the Roxana Shells, who had girls finish 1-2-3-4-5 for a perfect score of 15 in the SCC Meet in Piasa.
