Douglas high school this afternoon. Students say they heard multiple gunshots. They rushed to hide in classrooms and they tried to reach their parents through their cell phones but some of them were scared to talk out of fear that their voices would attract the shooter. One student says he heard the gunman pull that fire alarm and yell for everyone to come out of the rooms in an attempt to fill the halls with people. When that school went on lockdown, s. W. A. T. Team rushed in. Students flooded out consoling each other on the street. It was multiple gunshots, five at a time, fully automatic, very frightening. We thought it was a drill. But apparently it was a active shooter. The hallway saw big pile of blood smeared like as if they were dragged away and i saw two girls probably dead in the hallway. A good thing the door is locked. The shooter shot through the door. I was behind the cabinet and the bullet passed my ear, got a girl next to me. We couldnt help anybody. 911 wasnt working

My brother has his back turned, and he did not know who shot, so he turned around and the police are there. But the short clip does not show the entire as the, and you cannot see a gun during the struggle, and that is what bothers the family. Brother did not pose any threat to the Police Officers. It was a very busy night for firefighters in contra costa county. In fact, firefighters had their hands full with brush fires burning between bay point and brentwood. This is where a grass fire came close to an apartment complex at lone tree way. It may have been sparked by a remnants of a professional Fireworks Show that ended moments earlier. Illegal fireworks have displaced four people in san jose. Officials say a neighbors fireworks landed in the backyard of a home just before 10 00 last night. It quickly started a twoalarm fire that spread to the fight. To the house. The back of the home suffered moderate damage. The flames were put out in about 25 minutes. Oakland firefighters responded to another illegal fireworks fire on skyline boulevard. It was just before 10 00 when a vegetation fire broke out about 200 feet off the road. Fire Officials Say bystanders confirmed the accidental blaze was started by fireworks. It grew to about a quarter acre but was very difficult to get to bec
