Liverpool was transformed into a 1960s London featuring an old Odeon cinema, guitar shop and hotel.
It is believed film crews were preparing to shoot scenes for ITV s new British spy drama, The Ipcress File.
The Ipcress File is an espionage thriller set in Berlin and London during the 1960s.

Len Deighton s novel has been adapted into a six-part television series for ITV starring Joe Cole in the iconic role of Harry Palmer alongside Lucy Boynton and BAFTA award-winning actor, Tom Hollander.
