A man drove his car through the Havre de Grace police station Sunday night after threatening police officers, authorities in northeastern Maryland said.
Timothy Kahl, 24, called the police department threatening to go to the station to kill an officer, police said in a social media post. Officers found him parked in a car just a mile from the station, but police said when they approached the car, Kahl tried to run them over and struck several vehicles. Kahl then headed to the police station, where he drove his car through the front doors and into the lobby, police said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. Maryland police have arrested a man who reportedly threatened to kill a police officer and then crashed his SUV into the front of the police station on Sunday in Havre de Grace.
The Havre de Grace Police Department said a man, later identified as Timothy Joel Jackson Kahl, had phoned the station around 9:40 p.m. Sunday. During the call, he threatened to murder an officer, WBAL-TV reported. Using investigative resources, police were able to determine the suspect was near his house on Village Drive.
Officers responded to the home where they found Kahl, 28, in his vehicle. The suspect was reportedly known to police.
