leadership is really under the microscope with the mail bombings and with the synagogue shooting recently. the white house like the president is very much off kilter, struggling to find a balance between showing empathy and consoling the country which the president s aides admit donald trump is not particularly skilled or good at or comfortable doing. and continuing the attack on the political campaign trail. the president has wanted to spend this last week just 100% attacking democrats, bringing up immigration and so forth and been distracted by the national traenls very much outside his own control. and the 23-minute press conference we saw yesterday with sarah sanders i think reflected the unease within the white house that s really emanating from the president hemz trying to strike the balance between consoling people and combatting people as you put it at the top of the show. phil rucker great reporting and i appreciate you joining the broadcast today. thank you. alexey and ken
