Things to see in Vancouver: Grouse Mountain grizzlies emerge

A pair of grizzly bears emerged following what was the longest-ever hibernation period at the British Columbia ski resort where they live.

He is the alpha in the relationship he’s the extrovert and is always the one to try something first, including emerging from hibernation. In fact, Macquisten jokes that he offers 1,000-to-1 odds against Coola emerging first from the snow, and no one has taken up the bet, not even for a loony.

Wolves and a wildlife filmmaker
