Ken Krivanec, who was part of the old Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Co., separate from the main Weyerhaeuser, Tri Pointe seven years ago in a $2.8 billion deal. Weyerhaeuser purchased that homebuilding business 1969; it was established 10 years prior. A new Tri Pointe sign was recently hung on the company s Eastgate headquarters.
