California to ban parking minimums near transit

To fight climate change and the California's housing affordability crisis, Gov. Newsom signed a bill that will bar cities from setting minimum parking requirements near transit stops.

California Landmark Group founder Ken Kahan said his company plans to upgrade the property. “Woodland Plaza is an ideal opportunity for us to reposition and provide a best-in-class option for users in this submarket.” Other recent office purchases in the Woodland Hills market include the May 2020 trade of the 41,058-square-foot former home of Weider Health and Fitness at 21100 Erwin St. for $12.8 million. That one sold for about $311 a square foot, significantly above the recent deal.
