El Dorado city officials heard updates on several city projects earlier this week, including efforts to relocate the city dog pound and build a new workshop for Lions Club Municipal Golf Course both of which have been in development for the past several years.
Having secured funding for the latest round of park improvements, the El Dorado Parks and Playgrounds Commission can take a well-deserved, albeit brief, respite before proceeding with the next phases of a master plan to make city parks more inviting to the community.
Even with several days of rain this month, the Lions Club Municipal Golf Course could still top $30,000 in monthly revenue before May 31, members of the El Dorado Parks and Playgrounds Commission said.
