Exciting future for Kelynack rec reserve
Upgrades to the sports and a multi-play area along with a new family friendly pavilion are some of the future improvements earmarked for Kelynack Recreation Reserve in Mill Park.
Council has endorsed a masterplan for the 5.7-hectare reserve that will see it transformed into a key sports and open space reserve for the local community.
Administrator The Hon Bruce Billson said the masterplan ensured future upgrades and improvements could be planned well in advance so the reserve could continue to support the local growing community.
“We spoke with local residents and clubs who told us they wanted to see improved access and safety, changes to the landscaping and connection to the nearby Plenty Gorge Parklands,” Mr Billson said.
