Archer Elementary School Principal Stella Arduser has been demoted but not fired as recommended after a school district investigation found that there is a “preponderance of evidence” that she violated School Board policies.
In a recent letter to Arduser, a school official said she has been reassigned to a supervisory position in the district’s learning resources department in the Sivia Center, handling media services.
Kevin Purvis, the assistant superintendent of human resources who previously recommended after an internal investigation that Arduser be fired, wrote that per board policy, she will continue to earn her $82,387 annual salary until the end of the fiscal year, which ends June 1.
Among the allegations which she denied included sharing pictures of nude men with staff members and that she had an inappropriate sexual relationship on the school campus.
