Despite a difficult year for many families financially due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 16th annual Shuttle Gift Appeal with charity Home-Start has been yet another record-breaker thanks to generous donations from our readers. Home-Start co-ordinators Joanne Shinton and Donna Scriven out delivering Gift Appeal donations In just four weeks, more than 3,000 gifts have been dropped off at our drop-off points by individuals, local companies and community groups, ensuring that every child supported by Home-Start Wyre Forest and many of those supported by local school safeguarding leads have a present to open on Christmas day.
