FRIENDS and colleagues in Wrexham put on their running shoes for a cause close to their hearts. During the national lockdown, hairdressers from The Hair Lounge in Rossett decided to take part in the Couch to 5k challenge to keep fit and have something to do. However, they then chose to go further this year and challenge themselves to a run for charity. Tonisha Williams, Kelly Castell, Fiona Cupit and her daughter Bella Cupit set themselves the challenge of running 50 miles each throughout March in a bid to raise funds for Dementia UK. Whilst also gearing up to open back up to the public, Kelly told the Leader that they had to work quickly which was tough but they are really pleased .
