CUMBERLAND Brady Nolin pitched a no-hitter in his first varsity start as Greely shut out Fryeburg Academy 1-0 Tuesday in baseball.
Nolin struck out eight and walked two for the Rangers (1-1) .
Cooper Neleski singled to open the bottom of the seventh and pinch-runner Sam Almy scored.
The Hawks were playing their first game.
MARSHWOOD, SANFORD SPLIT: TJ Curley hit an RBI single to drive in Jake Lamontagne in the bottom of the 13th as the Spartans (1-2) beat the Hawks (1-2) 3-2 to take Game 1 of a doubleheader at Sanford.

GRAY Andrea Smith scored eight goals for Gray-New Gloucester/Poland in the girls lacrosse program’s first varsity game, from which the 26ers came away with a 13-5 win over Fryeburg Academy on Tuesday.
Ellie Steele had two goals, three assists and gathered up 18 ground balls for Gray-New Gloucester/Poland (1-0), while Makenna Powell added two goals and Ashlehy Wilson also scored.
