Somewhere to go but nowhere to park?
We ve all felt the rage build inside us while aimlessly circling parking garages, only to find out the space you thought was empty is actually occupied by a hybrid hidden between two souped-up trucks and that those trucks are taking up multiple spots on their own.
Time and time again, The Scruffy Stuff team has heard frustrations from folks about downtown parking. So, we asked the question: Is parking a problem in downtown Knoxville?
Some people think journalism is a fun profession, but the truth is it can involve a lot of tough research. Last week, we gathered data in the form of sips as we tried to nail down the best cocktail in downtown Knoxville.
Last week, The Scruffy Stuff team discussed whether Knoxville is still scruffy, citing some of the fancy cocktail bars that have popped up around town the antitheses of scruffy, in some cases.
Scruffy or not, these are the places delivering some of the most delicious drinks.
On this week s podcast, Knox News reporters and downtown experts Kelli Krebs, Calvin Mattheis, Brenna McDermott and Ryan Wilusz discuss their go-to cocktails and which bars have the best offerings across the board.

Moving forward, The Scruffy Stuff will be the source for advancing the conversation about the issues, trends and opportunities in downtown Knoxville and surrounding areas.
New episodes will come out each Monday, focusing on a question on the minds of downtown lovers. We also plan to answer questions you maybe never considered.
These questions will spark discussion, involve our listeners and undoubtedly cause us to butt heads.
