For Louth singer Kelley McArdle, who is a former Voice of Ireland contestant, her debut single “Shine a Light” was so much more than just her chance to show the world her talent as a musician, doubling as a way of raising awareness around the Rape Crisis Centre North East in Dundalk.

SINGER Kelley McArdle is hoping her new song will Shine a Light for others who have been through sexual abuse.
The Drogheda musician was a finalist on the Voice of Ireland in 2015 but only got back into songwriting when lockdown forced the dance company she worked for to close and the pandemic put an end to her weekly gigging around the country.

A new single from up-and-coming Louth singer Kelley McArdle will raise funds for the Rape Crisis Centre North East based in Dundalk and the RCC in Dublin.
A former ‘Voice of Ireland’ contestant, with a CPD Diploma in song writing from DIT, Kelley’s music can be best described as pop with an edge, with a variety of influences such as Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Queen, Eminem and Ed Sheehan showing in her music.
