The first non-quarterback is off the board. As expected, the Falcons have selected talented Florida tight end Kyle Pitts with the fourth-overall pick.
Many pundits had Pitts ranked as their top prospect in the entire draft (or, at least, even with QB Trevor Lawrence), but he wasn’t expected to go in the top-three considering the Jaguars, Jets, and 49ers were all eyeing quarterbacks.
Atlanta seemed like a natural landing spot for the tight end, although there were some questions if the Falcons front office would consider an eventual successor to veteran Matt Ryan. Instead, the team has provided the former MVP with another talented weapon.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of many NFL organizations who could be looking at a tight end in the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft. However, unlike the other franchises who are looking to add to their current secondary depth chart, the Steelers possess the 24th overall pick.
Not really conducive to getting a top tier prospect, and although there are big name prospects like Kyle Pitts, what about the mid-round options? There are a lot of talented players who could be available to the Steelers in the mid-to-later rounds, and Tommy Tremble certainly is a tough player to peg in regards to where he is expected to be taken in the upcoming draft.
NFL draft could see record run of QBs taken

As soon as the San Francisco 49ers traded three first round picks to move up to No. 3 overall, it became clear that quarterbacks would come off the board at a record pace at the NFL draft.
While QBs are widely expected to go 1-2-3 for just the third time in the common draft era that started in 1967, there are still questions about how many others will follow in the top 10 and first round.
Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson are expected to be the top two picks to Jacksonville and the New York Jets, with the Niners likely picking between Mac Jones, Trey Lance and Justin Fields at No. 3.
