Along with about 400 other people, the 36-year-old Richmond domestic worker was able to get her coronavirus vaccination at Iglesia Fuente de Salvacion in San Pablo. Ramos learned of the church’s clinic from a friend who attends Iglesia Fuente de Salvacion, after a disappointing realization that she was not eligible by age or employment category when she tried to sign up for a vaccination with Kaiser. To get a slot at the church, all Ramos had to do was call.
