The men all played a role in the April 2016 hired murder of Lillian "Resa" Bond outside her house in Norfolk's Ingleside neighborhood. Bond, 59, was wheeling her trashcan to the curb when a gunman got out of a car and shot her six times.
The trial for four men accused of taking part in the 2016 murder of a Norfolk woman who was shot while taking out the trash began Thursday in U.S. District Court in Norfolk. Prosecutors told the jury Lillian Bond was murdered over an $80,000 drug debt owed by her nephew.
