A city staff error on a building permit has turned into a notice on title two years later for a North Shore family. The property at 745 Highway 3A has been served with a notice on title for not having residential sprinklers or a six-metre wide roadway access for fire trucks despite the city issuing an occupancy permit for the new residential build two years ago.

Communities across B.C. relied on the program, and the program was cancelled with no advance notice from the province.
Despite an emphasis on climate action strategies and projects across B.C. the province has elected to drop one of the main municipal climate action program sources of funding.
The province has discontinued the Climate Action Revenue Incentive Program (CARIP), a provincial climate action program that provided municipal government with funds to further their climate goals (as long cities reported their emissions and reported on how they used the funds).

Oak Forest Police said three teenagers were robbed by a group of men at gunpoint as they were walking to a friend’s home on Mooring LaneDec. 27.
The victims two girls aged 14 and 15 plus a male friend whose age was not listed said a group of 4 to 6 men jumped out of a black SUV and approached them carrying handguns shortly before 8 p.m. The teens told police the men demanded they give them their phones and passcodes as well as a pair of earbuds and miscellaneous cash they were carrying.
