© TMS A new box set is in our future as part of its 35th-anniversary with the Onegai! Samia Don property. Originally airing in 1985 for 78 episodes, TC Entertainment has scheduled a DVD box set for it that will arrive on July 30th, 2021. With that almost here, we’ve got a look at the cover artwork for the set now! The five-disc set will be in Japanese mono only and it looks like the only extra is the booklet for it. The solicitation indicates that it’s working from HD masters that were produced from an HD positive telecine. The series was directed by Osamu Kobayashi based on the original work by Edith Nesbit. Keishi Yamazaki handled the series composition while Tsutomu Shibayama handled the character designs. TMS entertainment worked on the animation production.
