Dumfries schoolgirl airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by Audi

A 14-YEAR-OLD girl was left seriously injured after being knocked over by a car in Dumfries.
The lass was struck by a grey Audi A6 on the A76 Dumfries to Kilmarnock road at around 2.45pm on Saturday.

The collision happened near the junction with the C6N road towards Loch Ettrick.
After suffering serious injuries, the girl was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Children s Hospital, where her condition is now described as stable.
The driver of the Audi and its passengers were uninjured.
Cops stayed at the scene for hours as they investigated the smash, before the road eventually reopened at 10pm.

Dr Eddie Holmes said he visited the Huanan seafood market in 2014 with local health officials who highlighted it as the sort of place where a virus could spill over from animals to humans.

COPS have slammed a woman who allegedly found a man raping a mentally ill victim and RECORDED the attack instead of saving her.
Phone footage of the horrific sex attack was then posted by the woman on social media, say shocked police officers in South Africa.

Despite the fact that the woman knew the alleged victim, it s claimed she did not then inform her family or police about the attack, reports IOL News.
It was only when the victim’s sister saw the sickening footage that cops were called in and the suspected rapist and the woman who allegedly filmed the video were arrested.
