As the horrendous story behind a murdered young Puerto Rican woman develops, Felix Verdejo who’s been formally accused of being behind the killing has just been indicted by a grand jury, with the possibility of the death penalty.
Keishla Rodriguez’s body was recently found in a local body of water in Puerto Rico and an FBI complaint accuses Verdejo of physically assaulting, drugging, and binding the women before throwing her body off a bridge and shooting at her in the water. Reports suggest that Rodriguez had an intimate relationship with Verdejo outside of his marriage and when she went to confront him about her being pregnant with his child, things took an unthinkably violent turn.

An FBI complaint, based on testimony from an unidentified witness, accused Verdejo of punching Rodríguez in the face, injecting her with a syringe filled with an unidentified substance bought at a public housing complex, binding her arms and feet with wire, tying a block to her and then throwing her off a bridge at 8:30 a.m. last Thursday. Authorities said Verdejo then stood on the bridge and shot at her body that authorities found in a
