Entering the Oregon spring high school football season, few prospects had more to gain than Tualatin junior wide receiver/defensive back Cole Prusia.
An emerging (but then-unrated) star, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound two-way standout appeared poised for a breakout season that would put him on the recruiting map.
Few, though, anticipated his dominance this spring.
Prusia finished the season with 670 yards and 11 touchdowns on tape (includes called-back plays) with three interceptions on defense on his way to be named the Prep Redzone’s Oregon 5A/6A co-offensive player of the year, alongside West Linn running back and Oregon State walk-on Gavin Haines.
