Some residents of Nasarawa State and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the aegis of Indigenous People of Nasarawa on Saturday staged a peaceful protest against the Court of Appeal's judgement that upturned the Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal. It would be recalled that on 2nd October 2023, a three-member Election Petition Tribunal led by Ezekiel Ajayi, had in a split judgement of two-to-one, declared the governorship candidate of the PDP, David Ombugadu, the validly elected governor of the state during the March 18th, 2023 Governorship election.
