With the latest stage of lockdown easing, it’s all systems go at Milnthorpe’s Lakeland Wildlife Oasis. Eager visitors have been flocking back to one of the region’s most popular attractions discovering new and improved enclosures, plus lots of new furry and fishy faces. Keepers were delighted to finally unveil four huge, new, state of the art marine tanks, the results of some very hard lockdown graft. Popular inhabitants like upside down jellyfish and damselfish have been joined by a cast list straight out of ‘Finding Nemo’: firefish, clownfish, horseshoe crabs, colourful bubble tip anemones, and many more.
