Downingtown East might not have the profile you'd expect for a team that won 17 games to start their season. While the Cougars made it to the regular season's final day without a blemish on their record, they did so by developing a knack for closing out close contests and proving themselves repeatedly against opponents who were bringing their best to the three-time Ches-Mont champions.
