The Wofford Chapel Church Cemetery Maintenance Organization (WCCCMO), based in Casscoe, will host two separate gatherings this Memorial Day weekend to spread awareness and celebrate the Wofford Chapel Cemetery’s historical and ancestral values. To kick off the weekend, the Casscoe Mud Riders will caravan to the Wofford Chapel Cemetery on Saturday, May 29. WCCCMO Board member Annette Wofford-Bufford said anyone can participate to celebrate their family’s legacy. “It is not only for people with an ATV if you want to bring your truck, tractor, or car. It is a fun way to celebrate what we are doing. We want as many people to participate and have fun doing it,” Wofford-Bufford said.
