Juniors overpower Twin Cities in districts

The North Platte FNBO Juniors scored 12 unanswered runs to come from behind on Saturday and defeat Twin Cities, 18-8, in districts at Scottsbluff.
“Nothing comes easy in districts,” Juniors coach Ryan Jones said. “Twin Cities hit the ball well but we’re happy to come away with the win. Survive and advance.”
Twin Cities (18-25) scored the first two runs of the game in the first inning. The Nationals (23-14) took the lead by scoring three runs in the third.
The Express scored a run in the bottom of the third to tie the game up. North Platte then scored three in the fourth but Twin Cities answered with four in the bottom half of the inning to lead, 7-6.
