We re getting there. The end of this terrible pandemic. We re certainly
not there yet - but we re definitely moving in the right direction. There s some numbers here in Iowa that prove that, and there s word today from Dr. Fauci that he is predicting open season on all Americans getting the vaccine come April.
First off, CBS2 reports that as of today, February 11, 99,978 people in Iowa have now been fully vaccinated (they ve had two doses) against COVID-19. That number is 4,336 more than what we had yesterday morning. The total number of people in Iowa who have/had COVID-19 sits at 327,255. While that may seem far off, we re now averaging roughly 3,500 more vaccinated per day than infected.

There was no reason for us to be proud of how we d handled the pandemic here at home. However, in November, Governor Kim Reynolds
UNI Shares Its New Logo

The school is putting the new logo and branding out after two years of extensive research and collaborative creative development according to KCRG.

Waterloo Schools Sticking with Mask Mandate
Gov. Reynolds eased off on Iowa s mask mandate last week as COVID-19 numbers in the state have declined. Also removed, limits on gathering and restrictions on businesses. When it comes to Waterloo Public Schools, they will not be easing up on mask wearing any time soon.
