Sharp rise in new coronavirus cases in Telangana:- The second wave of coronavirus is all over the country. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu are the most impacted states of the country and the virus is spreading towards other states. Telugu states too are impacted badly and the daily tally of cases crossed 10,000 mark for the first time in Telangana. A total number of 10,122 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the state in the last 24 hours as per the health bulletin that is released by the State Health Department. 6446 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours and 52 new deaths are reported. The number of deaths too are rising considerably along with the new number of cases in the state. The recovery rate of Telangana stands at 82.68 percent and it is 82.5 percent for the country.
Telangana to hire 755 health staff to battle coronavirus:- Telangana is slowly turning out to be a hub for the spread of coronavirus. The new cases saw a remarkable rise in the state in the recent weeks. The Telangana government announced that it will be taking all the measures to curb the virus. The government now decided to appoint 755 health personnel that also includes 144 doctors in the next five days to battle coronavirus in Telangana. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) asked the officials and the district collectors to issue a notification for the same and the recruit the health professionals at the earliest. Special interviews will be conducted in the next couple of days after which the list would be zeroed in.
