The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has praised Nigerian Judiciary for sentencing a pastor, Erinmole Adesokunbo and his accomplice, Adedoyin Oyekanmi to death for the gruesome murder of a seven-year-old Muslim, identified as Kazeem Rafiu. The group, led by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, on Wednesday, said this in a statement signed by its Deputy Secretary-General, Prof. Salisu Shehu. The Sultan of Sokoto is considered the spiritual leader of Muslims in Nigeria.
NSCIA also hailed the recent death sentence passed on a pastor, Erinmole Adetokunbo, and another Christian, Adedoyin Oyekanmi, over the killing of a seven-year-old Muslim boy, Kazeem Rafiu.
