BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX19) - A man was arrested and charged Monday after shooting his brother twice.
The Boone County Sheriffâs Office said deputies were dispatched to Phyllis Court in Hebron on Sunday after receiving several 911 calls that people were fighting and gunshots were heard.
Once on scene, deputies located shell casings in the roadway but did not immediately locate a suspect or victim.
The sheriffâs office said early Monday morning deputies received a report that a gunshot victim had arrived in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth in Florence.

(Hebron, Ky.) - An Independence man has been charged with assault after shooting his younger brother.
David Kroth, 34, was taken into custody on Monday and charged with one count of Assault 1st Degree (Class B Felony) and Alcohol Intoxication in Public Place (Violation).
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies began investigating the incident on Sunday after receiving multiple 911 calls regarding a fight and gunshots.
Upon arriving at the scene on Phyllis Court in Hebron, deputies located shell casings in the roadway, but did not immediately locate a suspect or victim.
