The Kaysinger Bluff Pioneer Heritage Association presents a living history experience through the demonstration of more than seventy 17th to 19th century crafts, trades and lifestyles of the early pioneers. At the Harry S Truman Visitor Center and throughout the wooded trails you will visit the Hooper House, Concord School House and an 1850’s homestead.
Spend some time at the Civil War and Mountain Man Camps. As you stroll the trails you will find a variety of entertainment on the stage of the Trailside Theater and on the porches of the early American homes. There is lots of bluegrass singin’, fiddlin’ and storytellin’. Satisfy your hunger at several spots along the trails that feature foods from back in the day as well as kid friendly foods. For modern crafts take the shuttle to Drake Harbor, West Harrison Street where you will find over 200 vendors offering everything from handcrafted items to food.
