Are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck back together? It s a question that not so long ago would have felt like something out of a time machine set to 2004, but that is actually going through the heads of many internet-dwelling people in 2021.
Why is that, you ask? Well, following her split from fiancé Alex Rodriguez this spring, J.Lo has been spotted spending time with another ex-fiancé and, yes, clearly we re talking about Affleck here. Lopez and Affleck were one of the quintessential couples of the early aughts. They were together from 2002 until 2004, getting engaged in November 2002 after she split from husband Cris Judd in June of that year. Lopez later told

From the days I spent as a kid around the pool at the cabin we used to rent out in Michigan, to the times in Chicago she’d come over before sunrise to watch the kids so I could work out, to every minute she spent with us in the White House, my mom has always been my rock.I am so grateful to have her as a guiding force in my life, but I know that this can be a tough day for so many who aren’t as lucky. So this #MothersDay, I hope you take a moment to celebrate all the moms and mom-like figures in your life the aunties and grandmothers, the friends and mentors who have helped you find your way in the world. Jennifer Lopez Brought Her Mom Onstage for a Duet of Sweet Caroline at Vax Live May 9, 2021
J.Lo opened the star-studded show with a rendition of Neil Diamond s 1969 classic Sweet Caroline.
During the show, Lopez explained that her mom used to sing the song to her as a lullaby but she changed the chorus from sweet Caroline to sweet Jennifer.

The 51-year-old singer and actress opened the concert with an incredible rendition of Neil Diamond s Sweet Caroline emphasis on the sweet. J.Lo didn t just grace our ears with a gorgeous version of the classic song, she invited her mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, out to sing with her.
