Mark Brandford was jailed this month after brutally murdering 32-year-old Kayleigh Dunning at his flat in Kingston Crescent, North End, in December 2019.
Portsmouth Crown Court heard how he spent a year using her stolen phone to send explicit images of her to friends and family in a bid to drive her towards him.
The 49-year-old was jailed for life with a minimum term of 23 years following his conviction for murder and revenge porn.
