DICKINSON A local non-profit organization continues their fundraising efforts aimed at seeing their dream, of having an art museum and interactive children’s science exhibit in Dickinson, become a reality. The group, Southwest Art Gallery & Science Center, will host an auction dinner at the Dickinson Eagles Club on Nov. 18.
Hopes Landing hosts St. Patty’s fundraiser
Many of the events last year were postponed, cancelled or altered as a direct result of government mandates related to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent mandatory restrictions. One such entity was Hope’s Landing, which provides a sober living home welcoming those in recovery to a safe, sober and accountable environment. Last year, Hope’s Landing had to postpone their third annual St. Patty s Day fundraiser at great cost. With restrictions lifted they now announce they are back and ready to celebrate and raise funds cautiously.
