North Jersey Trump supporters shaken by riot: It went sideways fast

Calls for the removal of President Donald Trump have grown louder in the days since a pro-Trump mob descended on the Capitol, resulting in violent chaos that left five dead. But as House Democrats are expected to bring articles of impeachment against Trump as early as today, the deeply divided country still views basic facts about the riot differently. While some of the president s supporters interviewed over the past several days said they were left shaken by the attack on the Capitol, others said they don t believe Trump supporters were involved in the rioting and that the president was not to blame for inciting the violence.
