La idea de poder tener gallinas domésticas en Plano fue reconsiderada en la sesión del concejo municipal del 28 de junio.
Varios pobladores hablaron a favor de poder criar gallinas en el patio de sus casas, y señalaron que ciudades vecinas han permitido esa práctica y que ha dado buenos resultados.

Harry LaRosiliere has officially left his post as Plano mayor, but not before offering some advice for Mayor John Muns, who was sworn in during a May 10 council meeting.
LaRosiliere asked Muns to remember that being mayor is a 24/7 role that he will be in no matter where he goes. To illustrate his point, the former mayor said he often worked as late as midnight or 3 a.m. and would sign his emails “Mayor ADED, and it meant All Day, Every Day.”
