Seaford holds off late-charging Blue Raiders

SEAFORD, Del. – Brent Ricketts hit four free throws and a 3-pointer in the final minutes of Seaford’s game with Woodbridge to lift the Blue Jays to a 65-69 home wins Tuesday afternoon.
Woodbridge played with five players on their active roster, but still bolted to a 19-10 lead after the first quarter. Seaford responded with a 22-3 second quarter, led by Tyrese Fortune’s 10 points in the period.
The Blue Jays pushed their lead to double figures in the third quarter, but saw it dwindle to one with three minutes remaining.
Seaford converted 9-of-10 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
