Again all founders understood this. Quickly its that freedom requires virtue. When we say freedom we mean selfgovernment requires a virtue. Virtue in turn requires faith and then faith in turn requires freedom. To explain it, the founder said they wrote this over and over and over. You cant have selfgovernment or actual freedom unless the people govern themselves, which is to say less the people have some semblance of virtue, you cant force people to go
