Pension savers prioritise providers with low charges

Low charges are the most important criteria for pension savers when looking for a provider, research shows.
Glasgow-based pension calculator Guiide surveyed its users to find out what they deem most important when choosing a provider.
Answers included a great app, with modelling and planning tools, lots of investment choices and low charges.
Forty-two per cent chose low charges as the most important thing when choosing a suitable provider.
This was followed by 24% who said a great app with planning tools is the second most important consideration.
