The Kawartha Wildlife Centre has helped rehabilitate hundreds of animals since 2019 but has to close due to the loss of its wildlife custodian which is required by the province.
Due to “severe” staff and resource shortages, the Kawartha Wildlife Centre rehabilitation facility in Ennismore has been forced to close its doors, bringing an indefinite halt to operations.
