The project area for the Nelson South Innovating streets New concepts to achieve those goals were outlined at the meeting. They include the installation of a shared path outside Nelson Intermediate School, a one-way section of the Tipahi St corner, and a “tree centreline for Tipahi St and the Boundary Rd end of Kawai St. Council group manager for infrastructure Alec Louverdis said along with providing feedback on the first phase of the project and explaining the next steps, the meeting was also an opportunity to get insights from residents for what they would like to see next.
