surprised that the administration decided to announce is this resignation today. the kavanaugh news has been quite good for the president. he could have ridden that for a couple more days without any distractions. look at this cnn poll. did brett kavanaugh face a smear campaign? republicans are starting to see a lot of congressional races across the country tighten, enthusiasm is way up for republicans and unity behind the president across the board with republicans is really way up there after the kavanaugh nomination. then you had the ceremonial swearing in last night. yeah. i don t think that s going away. i think that enthusiasm is real. i think the polls are starting to pick it up across the board. in some states, obviously, in races more than others. in suburban house districts where the president s underwater, that didn t help this whole no matter how it went, it didn t help. but some senate races are clearly moving.
