Fox Rothschild partner Alex Kaufman has left his law firm after being present during President Donald Trump’s Jan. 2 phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Fox Rothschild announced Thursday that Kaufman and his father, partner Robert Kaufman, had left the law firm as a result of “a mutual agreement,” report the Legal Intelligencer and Above the Law.
During the phone call, Trump had asked Raffensperger to “find” the votes needed to make him win in Georgia. A second lawyer on the call, Foley & Lardner partner Cleta Mitchell, resigned from her law firm, the firm said in a statement Tuesday.
